Which diploma will I obtain?

The Master of Science provides a double degree from Toulouse Business School and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona Tech). More information about the double degree here.


Are there specialization options?

Yes, both the MSc Marketing and the MSc Finance offer different specialization itineraries to focus studies in a particular area:

  • In Marketing, students can specialize in BtoB, BtoC or International Business. Moreover, there is a special track in Fashion & Luxury. More information
  • In Finance, students can specialize in Corporate Finance or Management Control and Governance. More information.

Which are the usual timetables?

Being such a dynamic program, there is not a fixed timetable and it changes continuously. Classes can take place between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, depending on the subject, the module and the professor.


What is a typical student's profile?

Toulouse Business School's Masters of Science are aimed at young professionals who have recenlty graduated and have little or no professional experience.


Can I combine the Master with a job?

TBS does not recommend it. Class attendance is mandatory and the variability of timetables, plus the large number of practical exercises, hinders studying the master while working.


What is the profile of professors?

At TBS, half of our professors are academics and the other half are active professionals. Here you can check the complete list of the Masters of Science's professors. 


When is the internship?

During the third semester, normally in January, after the first 12 months of study when the common core and the specialization has been taught. Check here the MSc organization scheme.  


Is TBS responible for finding the internships?

TBS has agreements with companies, but the student may also seek internships in companies that interest him or her, anywhere in the world. The Career Starter department is responsible for ensuring that students get traineeships that fit their professional project. TBS' policy for internships is wide and the only restriction is that a student cannot be an intern in a company of his or her family.


Are they paid?

It depends on the company, although the school recommends businesses to pay the student to keep him or her motivated. However, it is not a requirement and the student must negotiate the contract with the company.


Which career paths can I follow afterwards?

The employment percentage of graduates working after the master is high: 88% of them find employment within two months of graduating. Most frequent job placements depend on the master and the specialization, being, for instance, Marketing Director, Product Manager or Marketing Research Manager usual among Marketing graduates. Is there support for the employment search?

Yes, during the 18 months of the Master, students can benefit from the Career Starter services: a personalized coaching service for internships and employment search including training sessions, personal development work, individual interviews with human resources specialists and speed coaching sessions. What are the requirements to enter the master?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent: students who hold (or will hold) a non-French university diploma (and at least two years of studies outside of France) attesting to at least three years of higher education or 180 ECTS. If you are holder of a French Diploma you can apply for the Master in Management.
  • GMAT/GRE/EXADEP score or TBS admission test.
  • If you present EXADEP: An English accreditation is needed: IELTS 6.0, Certificate of Advanced English, TOEFL, TOEIC or equivalent.
  • Being less than 29 years old on the course starting date.

Do I need professional experience?

No, the MSc are aimed at graduates with little or no professional experience.


What is the GMAT? Do I need it?

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standarized exam in English that measures the skills to pursue studies in business. The GMAT is not needed to apply for the MSc because TBS has its own admission test. However, if you have it, the school can consider your GMAT score for admission. 


What is the GRE? Do I need it?

The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a standarized examen that measures verbal and quantitative reasoning, analytic skills and critical thinking. The GRE is not needed to apply for the MSc because TBS has its own admission test. However, if you have it, the school can consider your GRE score for admission.


When will I have the results of the admission test?

The admissions department will contact you within 15 days after the completion of the tests.


Where can I pass the admission test?

If you live in metropolitan France, you must take your admission test in Toulouse Campus. If you live in Spain, the test will take place in Barcelona. If you live elsewhere in the world and you can not travel to Toulouse or Barcelona, Toulouse Business School can organize your admission test in an institution near your residence.



Are classes taught in French?

No. In Barcelona Campus, MSc classes are taught entirely in English.


Can I study entirely in English?

Yes, the MSc are taught entirely in English.


What level of English is required for entering the Masters?

We request a level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference.


Is it necessary to demonstrate the English level with an official diploma?

No, as both the GMAT and the GRE are tests in English and require fluency.


Do you offer Spanish classes for foreign students?

We have an agreement with the academy International House and our students can benefit from discouts in the Spanish classes and other languages. Moreover, master students can join the Spanish intensive course offered by TBS in september to all international students of our school.
